Hewlett Packard HP Deskjet 1000c Download Drivers

Supports deskjet printers with USB connectors on the printer, as well as network printing for those models that support Network printing.
It is for use with Mac OS X v.10.1.5, v.10.2.x, v.10.3 and OS X v.10.4, although HP recommends that you update to the latest version of Mac OS X. The downloadable file includes a driver installer, which also installs the newest deskjet printer utility.
This driver improves printer connection reliability and stability, as well as print speed and print output improvements. It is recommended that you delete the existing printer (print queue) from the Print Center prior to installing this driver. It is also recommended that you quit open applications before installing this driver.
Mount the disk image by double clicking on it.
Launch the "OS X HP Inkjet Installer" program, and follow the on-screen instructions

This driver supports only the HP DeskJet 1000C available in US/Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, India, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam, Brunei, Indonesia, and Malaysia. It is not designed to work on other operating systems.
This driver takes full advantage of the HP DeskJet 1000C printer's media flexibility, 11x17/A3 size printing capabilities and special printing features.

Users can choose to download either a single self-extracting EXE file (DJ109en) or 3 separate self-extracting EXE files (DJ109en1, DJ109en2, DJ109en3). Regardless of which option used, the self-extracted files are the same. The only difference is that in the 3 separate EXE files, users must make 3 separate attempts to download the files.
Installation Instructions:
1.) Exit all open applications.
2.) Download the file to a newly created sub-directory in your local hard drive.
3.) At the MSDOS prompt, access the sub-directory where the file is located.
4.) Type the name of the file followed by -d eg DJ109en -d. This file will self-extract to the local hard drive.
5.) Start Microsoft Windows and make sure no other Windows applications are running. 6.) Select Start, Run.
7.) At the Command line box, type c:/[dir]/SETUP
8.) Follow the instructions that appear on the screen to complete the installation of the printer driver.
Go to the DOS prompt and use the '-d' command when
extracting this archive to maintain the original directory structure of this
software set. Example: dj109en.exe -d c:\temp

Installation Instructions:
Save the file and double-click to expand it to a newly created sub-directory in your hard drive. This will expand and start the driver installation process automatically.
If you choose to download the driver in multiple file formats, upon downloading the 2 files, double-click to expand each of them before running the "Setup" program from DISK1.
