Once you have downloaded the file, double-click on it and the software will extract to an 'HP Install Error Update' folder in the same location.
Once you've installed the firmware you can safely delete the col9464xx.exe file, and the "HP Install Error Upate" folder it creates, from your hard drive.

This patch will resolve "Unexpected Internal Errors" and some "Communications Failure" errors that may occur when there are mutiple versions of HP Image Zone and/or Photo and Imaging software on your system.

Once the patch has been executed, you may delete the C:\COL10862 with the COL10862.exe file.
