Installation Instructions

After downloading a ".sea.hqx" file on a Macintosh, use StuffIt Deluxe(R) or StuffIt Expander(R) by Aladdin Systems, Inc. (http://www.aladdinsys.com/) to access the files contents. StuffIt Expander is available as a ware product. To decompress a ".sea" file on a Macintosh, double-click on the ".sea" file.

Download instructions:
1. Click the download link to the driver and select the destination directory in your computer.
2. An executable installer file (.exe) is placed in a folder in your computer, double-click the installer file to extract the contents.
Install instructions:
1. Go to Start, Settings, Printers
2. Select Add Printer.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions and when possible select have a disk. Select the file dj5000.inf in the folder where you have previously extracted the installer file.
4. Select the model of the printer you have and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.

Download instructions:
1. Click the download link to the driver and select the destination directory in your computer.
2. An executable installer file (.exe) is placed in a folder in your computer, double-click the installer file to extract the contents.
Install instructions:
1. Go to Start, Settings, Printers (Windows 2000 and previous versions of Windows) or Go to Start, Settings, Printers and faxes (Windows XP)
2. Select Add Printer.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions and when possible select have a disk. Select the file dj5000.inf in the folder where you have previously extracted the installer file.
4. Select the model of the printer you have and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.

Another box Install from Disk appears.
Click the Browse to locate the expanded files directory (i.e., c:\designjet).
Click on the file ending with .inf .
Click Open and then Okay and let files install.
Add the printer if it hasn't been installed yet.
Click Add New Printer
Follow the instructions of the Add Printer Wizard.
When a printer listing box appears, select Have Disk.
Another box Install from Disk appears.
Click the Browse to locate the expanded files directory (i.e., c:\designjet).
Click on the file ending with .inf .
Click Open and then Okay and let files install
