This download package contains HP LaserJet P2010 Printer Series Mac OS X Installer with updated (Universal Binary) files. Printing support for Mac OS X v10.2.8, v10.3, v10.4, and v10.5 PPC and Intel processor Macs is included with this download.

Use this download package if you want to add the printer driver to the communications port that already exists (e.g. driver was deleted but port still exists). For first time installations where the communications port does not exist, use the Plug and Play package that is available for download. The drivers contained in this download can be installed on systems running Windows 2000, Windows XP (32-bit), Server 2003 (32-bit) and Vista (32-bit).

The HP LaserJet P2014 Printer (CB450A) is a monochrome laser printer that prints twenty- four pages per minute in black and white on letter size paper. The printer has a multi purpose tray that holds up to 50 sheets of various paper types/sizes or 10 envelopes. It also has a universal tray (tray 1) that holds up to 250 sheets of various paper types. An optional 250-sheet paper tray (optional tray 2) is also available. The printer has a Hi-Speed USB 2.0 port and IEEE 1284-B compliant parallel port, 32 MB RAM 264 MHz processor.
The HP LaserJet P2014n printer (CB451A) includes Hi-Speed USB 2.0 port and HP Jetdirect Fast Ethernet embedded print server, 32 MB RAM 264 MHz processor.

This firmware update utility is for the HP LaserJet P2014 printers only. This update is recommended for HP LaserJet P2014 printers that have a version prior to 20071001. This utility updates the printer's firmware version to 20071001 (October 1, 2007). The firmware version can be found on the Self Test/Device Configuration page. To print a configuration page press and hold the Go button for 5 seconds when printer Ready light is on and no other jobs are printing or select it from the Print Information Pages drop-down list on the Service tab in Printer Preference.

This package provides drivers and software to assist with device installation for devices connected via hi-speed USB 2.0 port.
The print drivers are the same as those found on the version 2.0 CD.
This package does not assist with upgrading drivers or installing network connected devices.

A silent install is available and separate instructions are available.

The driver contained in this download package is the PCL 5e driver for Windows 2000, XP and Vista and is newer than the PCL 5e driver found on HP LaserJet P2010 Series version 2.0 release.

Use this download package if you are updating the printer driver from a previous install or you want to add the printer driver. The driver contained in this download package is the driver compatible with Windows 98 and Windows ME.
As of June 30, 2007, HP's license to redistribute Microsoft's USB files for Windows 98 has expired and cannot be renewed. Thus, this Windows 98 driver does not include the Microsoft's USB files. The driver will install successfully on the USB port of a Windows 98 system if an HP printer has been successfully installed on the USB port on the system previously. The successful previous installation would have copied the USB files onto the Windows 98 operating system. So, if the Microsoft USB files are already on the Windows 98 system, then this driver, which does not include the Microsoft USB files, will install successfully.
Installing the printer over network (TCP/IP) or on the LPT port successfully does not require the Microsoft USB files. Since the Windows Millennium operating system has the Microsoft USB files, this driver should install successfully without a previous installation of an HP printer.
