This kit provides codes samples, libraries, and documentation to software developers for developing applications that work with SP Plus Series card printers or CP Plus Series card printers, and the 4.x card printer driver (for 32 bit Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows XP operating systems) through the printer driver and its API.
This kit also works with SP Series (SN 00000 through 89999) card printers and CP Series card printers, and the 4.x card printer driver (for Windows Vista or XP operating systems) through the printer driver and its API.

Smart Driver™ Printer Diagnostics 7.5can be used at the request of your service provider to fine-tune printer operations to your requirements, or to help identify whether the printer requires service. Use printer diagnostics only with the guidance of your service provider. For use with the Datacard CP40, CP60 and CP80 card printers.

This is the smartcard driver for the new SCM SCR331-DI Smart Card reader. The previous version of the smartcard driver for the old SCM SCR331-DI Smart Card reader cannot co-exist with the new version. The old version must be deleted before the new version can be installed. Refer to the smartcard manual for installation instructions to install the smartcard driver.

This version of firmware makes the newer style SCM reader act like the older style reader when using a Mifare application which was previously created using the older style reader. The newer style SCM reader is Mifare compliant. As part of this, the authentication method for Mifare changed as well as how the sectors are read.

It is recommended that customers migrate their application to be Mifare compliant. This will make it much easier for application developers to manage multiple reader types in the future.

SCM's Developer's Kit document contains the contactless interface of the SCR331-DI to develop applications with contacless smartcards together with the SCR331-DI.

Datacard Open Platform driver brings Linux operating system to the entire Datacard SP and CP Series card printers line of desktop printers.

The Datacard Open Platform driver provides all of the personalization options of the SP and CP Series card printers including color and monochrome printing, magnetic striping, smart card personalization and all topcoat and overlay options. The Open Platform driver supports USB and Ethernet connections in both uni-directional and bi-directional modes and is well documented in both HTML and PDF formats. This driver is available at no charge and has a flexible licensing scheme to make it easy for you to build your own application around it.

This is the latest firmware for the newer style SCM SCR331-DI Smart Card reader. SCM's USB Firmware Update Utility is required to download this file to the SCM reader.

This latest version of firmware corrects a problem reading RFID tags. Choose this firmware if your printer has serial number lower than 70,000. You must use the Flash Firmware Update utility in the Smart Driver Diagnostics to download the updated firmware to the printer.

For Datacard CP40, CP60 and CP80 card printers -- searches for and deletes all files for Datacard raster printer drivers. It also deletes all registry entries for Datacard raster printer drivers.

This Firmware Update Program is an application used to update the firmware in SP, CP, SP Plus, and CP Plus printers installed with one of the following Microsoft operating systems:

Windows 7, 64-bit
Windows Vista, 64-bit
Windows 2008 Server, 64-bit
The Firmware Update Program requires that the printer be installed with Printer Driver version 10.0 or version 10.1 on a supported 64-bit Windows operating system. Use this program, a firmware update file with a .fls extension, and the Firmware Update instructions to update the printer’s firmware.

This Firmware Update Program is a stand-alone application used to update the firmware in SP, CP, SP Plus, CP Plus and FP Series printers installed with the Microsoft Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows XP, Windows Server 2003 or Windows Server 2008 operating systems. Printer Driver version 4.0, version 4.1, version 4.5 version 4.6, or version 4.7 and the Windows Vista or XP operating systems, are required. Use this program, a firmware update file with a .fls extension, and the Firmware Update instructions to update the printers firmware.
