This driver is specially adapted to the requirements of the Windows NT 4.0-based products "Network Distributed ISDN for Windows©NT (NDI) and "ISDN MultiProtocol Router for Windows©NT" (NT/MPRI). The download package contains a setup program that offers you a choice of drivers for a variety of line and protocol configurations that are not available in the ordinary controller software. These additional capabilities are only required by the products mentioned above.

Windows XP and 2000 users can use the normal setup program for their B1 family AVM ISDN-Controller. These drivers already integrate the full extended capabilities of the the Server Edition for Windows NT (such as support for point-to-point [DDI] and leased lines).
