Before scanning, it is important that you have completed the
following steps:
Step 1: Install the scanner interface card in your computer.
Step 2: Connect the scanner cable to the interface card.
Step 3: Run the installation of Twain Data Source.
Step 4: Install the application software program.
Warning:Before you install the hardware, you must power off the computer
to avoid damage to its internal component.
If you have not finished these steps, please refer to the scanner
user's guide for more details.
Following are steps on how to uninstall your scanner installation program Twain
Data Source:
Step1: Under the Windows/TWAIN directory, delete the directory
SFCS_GNS and all its contents.
Step2: Delete the msfcd.vxd file in the Windows\System directory
Step3: Delete the line device=msfcd.vxd from the system.ini using
an editor such as PE3 or the "edit" command in DOS.
( The msfcd.vxd is the driver of the scanner device )
