User Guide to show how to use the flash program to flash the firmware of a BenQ CDRewriter .
The Windows Version of Firmware Upgrading Procedure.

1. Executive the Flash Program on Win98/Me/2000/XP directly.
Attention !! .. This program can’t work under Win95 / NT !!
2. Select the drive you want to upgrade, please refer to the Fig.1
3. Click “ Flash the drive ! “, please refer to the Fig.1
4. Then you would see the following windows, please click “ OK “
5. Flash Program would check the drive and show “ Please don’t turn off the power. Upgrading firmware… “
6. After upgrading, you would see the following window, it means that your drive already perform the firmware-upgrading job.
7. The last message would show “ === SUCCEED === “, please click “ Exit “ button to exit the program.

External USB 2.0 CDRewriter Win98 Only Driver.For USB v2.0 CD-RW device, you don't need to install any driver except Win98. If the OS of your platform is one kind of WinMe/2000/XP, the OS default driver would auto-detect your USB2.0 writer, but if the OS of your platform is Win98, you need to install the specific driver when you install it at first time.

Read the instructions carefully to know how to use the Windows Version of the Firmware Update Tool. The Windows Firmware Update Tool supports Win98 / WinMe / Win2000 / WinXP .
