1. Remove old oem*.inf or att*.inf files in the \windows\inf directory (if
any).
Skip to step 5 , if you install this driver in first time.
2. Remove any old copies of attmodem.vxd and attcom.vxd, especially
from \windows or \windows\system.
3. In Control Panel -> System -> Device Manager select Modem, then Remove
any 1914BAV that might be installed.
4. In Control Panel -> System -> Device Manager select Ports, then Remove
the COM port (if any) that the 1914BAV was previously using.
