1) Plug the receiver into a
controller slot.
2) Recharging: Using the enclosed cable,
connect the SPEEDSTER® Controller
to a USB slot of the switched-on
PlayStation®2 until the controller is
recharged (see fig. 2). When charging the
rechargeable batteries for the first time,
connect the rechargeable batteries to the
mains for at least eight hours.
3) Connect: Switch on the console.
The LED of the receiver slowly flashes.
4) Press the "START" button on the
controller. As soon as connection is
achieved, the LED will be continuously
illuminated.
5) If you do not press any button for a
certain time, the controller will switch to
the power-saving standby mode; the
connection will be interrupted.
By pressing the button "START", the
controller can be switched on again.
6) The package contains a set of high quality
rechargeable batteries with long lifetime.

The special control elements of the
SPEEDSTER® Controller (see fig. 1 on page 2)
Twist°n°Turn™
Release the lever on the axle in order to
steer with Twist°n°Turn™ (see fig. 3).
The Twist°n°Turn™ axle has the same function
like the horizontal axis of the left analogue
stick, and it is active at the same time.
The display keeps you informed on the
function that you are setting at the moment.

Operating modes
You can switch between the two operating
modes by means of the button "ANALOG".
"dI" – The digital mode is active;
"dI" – The analogue mode is active.
Most games automatically set a mode.
Play°n°Charge pack
Whilst the controller is connected to the
switched-on PlayStation®2 via a USB cable
(see fig. 2), the rechargeable batteries will
be charged (Display: ). As soon as the
rechargeable batteries are fully charged, the
display shows . If the rechargeable
batteries are close to be empty, the display
will show .
Please recharge the rechargeable batteries in
this case in order to ensure full functionality
of the controller.
