This driver includes new features over version 1.0 and includes the driver patch:
improved handling of extended character set languages such as Hebrew, Simplified Chinese, and Thai
support for the "outline" font effect in Microsoft Office 97 applications
HP Scan Picture support for Microsoft Office 97 application
improved print quality output on premium paper and transparencies
for certain printing anomalies such as occasional color loss in WordPerfect and Card Studio
Note:
After the successful installation of your HP OfficeJet Pro 1150C software, there will be a Communication Test, followed by the BLUE OfficeJet Pro 1150C - Hewlett-Packard screen. Press the Ctrl-Alt-Del keys on your PC keyboard simultaneously to show the Windows-Close Programs dialog window on the Desktop. Choose the SHUT DOWN button to Restart Windows. After successful re-boot, you should now have access to all the features of your OfficeJet Pro 1150C software.

HP OfficeJet Pro 1150C Driver Patch
for Microsoft Office 97

This is a patch for version 1.0 of the HP OfficeJet Pro 1150C printer/scanner driver. This update will allow you to scan images and text directly into your Microsoft Office 97 applications. However, since Caere OmniPage LE 5 does not support direct scanning into Office 97 applications, you will not have the "Acquire Text" feature in your File menu. This update should also be used for new PCs purchased after 12/96 and installed with Microsoft Windows 95.

Installation Instructions:
Verify that version 1.0 of the HP OfficeJet Pro 1150C Software Solution has been installed on your computer. If you have Microsoft Office 97 applications, please install then prior to installing this patch.
Download this file to any designated directory of your choice.
Run the file to launch the installation process. You can run the file by double clicking on the file in Explorer.
After the installation is complete, restart your computer.

HP OfficeJet Pro 1150C/Cse Driver Patch
version 1.1 for Microsoft Office 97

This is a patch for version 1.0 of the HP OfficeJet Pro 1150C driver. This update will allow you to scan images and text directly into your Microsoft Office 97 applications. However, since Caere OmniPage LE 5 does not support direct scanning into Office 97 applications, you will not have the Acquire Text feature in your File menu. This update should also be used for new PCs purchased after 12/96 and installed with Microsoft Windows 95. To use this patch, you must have already installed the driver (either version 1.0 or 2.0) on your system.

This driver supports printing functionality on the HP OfficeJet Pro 1150C and 1150Cse in the NT 4.0 environment.
To download and install the printer and scanner drivers, you will need 100MB space on your hard disk. Once installed, the programs will occupy 60MB on your hard drive.
Caution
Scanning and printing do not work together. Wait for your scanning job to complete before you start to print, or wait for a print job to complete before scanning.
