AVM FRITZ!Card DSL Download Drivers

The driver software provides the CAPI 2.0 software interface to allow application programs to communicate with the AVM hardware in Linux and access all features of the DSL/ISDN line. The driver gives your PC's Linux operating system access to your AVM hardware component. Those who use a Linux distribution other than SuSE can compile this driver locally. The utility K ADSL Watch can be used to monitor your ADSL connection. This program displays the connection set-up and clear-down status, the throughput rates, the AVM ADSL/ISDN-Controller in use, the connection up-time and the data traffic. The connection status is always visible at a glance in the KDE panel.

The program K ISDN Watch shows the B channel activity of CAPI based hardware and provides information about the protocols implemented in the CAPI driver.

The ISDN CAPI Port Driver creates "virtual modems" in the system which can be used by all applications that are designed for use with analog modems with the AT command set (such as Dial-up Networking, HyperTerminal). The CAPI Port Driver also permits the use of applications that require a conventional COM port.
