The following instructions assume that you are currently logged in
as a root user and you are using Mac OS X 10.2.x or Mac OS X 10.1.x.
Due to changes to Drivers and to Setup procedure, it is recommented to uninstall
first the old drivers and the old application. Then run the new setup to install
the current set of application/drivers.

1. The Driver and Utility package come with an integrated install shield. Run
the setup for your driver by double-clicking it.

2. Select next, read the license and select "I Agree" if you agree with the terms
of the license. Then select the destination volume that you want to install the
driver and finally select install. The Driver will be installed in the usual path
(/System/Library/Extensions/).

3. After restarting your macintosh run the setup for the WatlanX application following
the same procedure as above. The WatlanX application will be installed at your
Application Folder.

4. Plug in the device. If you are using Mac OS X 10.2.x you must see an alert telling
you that "The program you are using needs to use a system file that may reduce
the security of your computer". You can just click "Fix and Use" to properly load the driver.
If you don't see this alert try to unplug and plug again your device.
When you click the "Fix and Use" button an authentication dialog
will appear. Enter root for the label "Name:" and the root password for
the label "Password or phrase:".

5. From the dock (usually located at the bottom of your screen) click the
System Preferences icon. From there select Network.

6. A dialog will appear telling you that a "New Port Detected". Here you will
also see the name of this port(e.g en1 or en2 etc). Click the OK button and
configure it as you like. Click the "Apply Now" button.

7. Double click the file WatlanX and use it to configure your wireless adapter.
