How to install ColorPage-HR5/ HR5Pro

The UDS-IS11 ISA interface card isn`t supported under Windows XP . This guide assumes, that you have allready installed and configured a third-party SCSI adapter and that this adapter is working properly.

1. Connect scanner with your SCSI adapter. Put a terminator on the second SCSI port of your scannner and power on scanner.
2. Start your PC. After you have logged into Windows XP, system will prompt you wih the „New Hardware found“ wizard.
3. Select option „Choose Software from list“.
4. Don´t let the system search for the best driver. Instead select option „Don´t search, let me select the installable driver“.
5. The next window will display a list of available hardware typs. Select Imaging device..
System will now dsiplay a list of hardware manufactures and devices. From the hardware manufacturer list choose UMAX and as device select UMAX Astra 1200S. Follow the on-screen instruction to finish installation.
