Installation directions for MAC
1.) Verify the Mass Storage Drivers are up to date, which as of
09/06/02, is version 1.3.5. this is true of OS 8.6 only, there is no USB support lower then this OS

2.) To update the Storage Drivers goto www.apple.com then hit the support button at the top right and in the search field type "Mass Storage", the list that results will have the latest drivers at the very top of the list.

3.) Once downloaded and unpacked drag the extension onto the Systems Folder. The OS will place the extension into the correct sub-folders.

4.) Turn on the Camera and set to PC mode if needed. Connect the USB cable to the Camera first and then connect the USB cable to the computer.

5.) Untitled Disk will appear on the desktop. This may have a PC in the name, but will provide a way to access the Camera's memory card. There should be a folder within the Untitled Disk named DCIM and then within that one a folder named 100kcbox. The image files will be in the last folder.

6.) If problems persist suggest upgrading to the newest OS if
possible or enter the Extensions Manager Control Panel and enable only the base set for trouble shooting, then manually choose the USB extensions if they were not included in the base set extensions.
