Informations
Using PTP (PictBridge) to send image data to camera memory from a computer running the Vista operating system can result in the image data being corrupted so it does not display properly. To avoid this, download the PTP (PictBridge) for Vista software and install it on your computer. The PTP(PictBridge) for Vista software will make it impossible for you to send image data from your computer to the camera using PTP (PictBridge).

Supported Models: EX-P600,EX-P700,EX-S100,EX-S500,EX-S600,EX-S600D,EX-S770D,EX-Z10,EX-Z30,EX-Z40,EX-Z50,EX-Z55,EX-Z57,EX-Z60,EX-Z70,EX-Z110,EX-Z120,EX-Z500,EX-Z600,EX-Z700,EX-Z750,EX-Z850,EX-Z1000,QV-R61,QV-R62
Important!
If you have multiple CASIO digital cameras that are different models, you will need to install the different software for each model.
If your computer has multiple slots or if you are connecting the camera to a computer via a USB hub, you will need to install the software for each route.
Regardless of whether or not this software is installed, you still can transfer images between the camera and your computer using Mass Storage.

To install the update software on your camera

Note that installation of the update software cannot be undone. Once you install the update software, there is no way to restore your camera to its original firmware version.
If firmware update installation is interrupted due to low battery power, your camera will no longer be able to operate. Be sure to make sure the camera's battery is fully charged before starting the firmware update installation procedure.
When using battery power for installation, a safety feature makes it impossible to perform installation when battery power is low. Make sure the camera's battery is fully charged when using battery power for installation.
After copying the EX-S600D.BIN software to camera built-in memory or memory card, disconnect the camera from the USB cradle before installing the firmware onto the camera. This firmware update cannot be installed while the USB cable is plugged into the camera.

1) Extract the file you downloaded.
Windows Users
* Double-click the file you downloaded, and it will self-extract. EX-S600D_101.exe extracts to EX-S600D.BIN.
Macintosh Users
* Use Stuffit Expander or some other similar application to extract the file you downloaded. EX-S600D_101.sit extracts to EX-S600D.BIN.

2) Place the camera onto its USB cable and establish a USB connection with your computer.

3) Copy the extracted file (EX-S600D.BIN) to the root directory (the top directory on the drive) in camera built-in memory or on a memory card.
