Acer USB driver Un-install Procedure. ( Ver. 1.09 )
This is the manual for the Un-install program that comes with the Acer USB external
re-writer driver version 1.09 (Setup_Uninstall.exe).
The Uninstall Program will remove all previously installed Acer USB drivers. We
strongly advise running this un-install program before upgrading to the new 1.09
version. Please carefully follow the steps below.
1. Run "Setup_Uninstall.exe”, and you will see the following messages:
2. please select "Choose Uninstall component" and click
the "Next" button to start the Un-install function.
3. When the un-install is complete you will get the message below. After you reboot
the system all existing Acer USB drivers will have been removed and you will be
ready for a clean install of the new driver.

1. Executive the Flash Program on Win98/Me/2000/XP directly.
Attention !! .. This program can’t work under Win95 / NT !!
2. Select the drive you want to upgrade, please refer to the Fig.1
3. Click “ Flash the drive ! “, please refer to the Fig.1
4. Then you would see the following windows, please click “ OK “
5. Flash Program would check the drive and show “ Please don’t turn off the power. Upgrading firmware… “
6. After upgrading, you would see the following window, it means that your drive already perform the firmware-upgrading job.
7. The last message would show “ === SUCCEED === “, please click “ Exit “ button to exit the program.

1. If it is your very first time to plug the CD-RW drive into the PC, the dialog, “Add New Hardware Wizard” , will appear.

2. On the following screen, click Next.

3. On the following screen, please check “Specify a location”, and type “a:\win98&2000&XP”. Then
click Next.

4. Click Next on the screen.

5. Click Finish.

6. Now, the CD-RW drive is ready to use.
? FOR WINDOWS 2000
1. If it is your very first time to plug the CD-RW drive into the PC, the dialog, “Found New Hardware Wizard” , will appear.
Then click Next.
2. click Next on the screen.
3. Check “Specify a location”, then click Next.
4. type “a:\win98&2000&XP” , click OK .
5. Follow the Wizard to click Next, and then click Yes on the window.
6. then click on Finish. Now, the CD-RW drive is ready to use.

1. If you are plugging the CD-RW drive into your computer first time, the “Add New Hardware Wizard” dialog will show up.

Please check “specify the location of the driver (Advanced)” and then click Next.

2. On the following screen, please check “Specify a location”, and type in “A:\WinMe”.

Then click Next.
3. On the following screen, click Next. And then click Finish.
4. Now, the CD-RW drive is ready to use.

Installing Easy CD Creator
To install Easy CD Creator:
1. Insert the Adaptec Easy CD Creator CD into your CD-Recorder or CD-ROM drive.
l If Autorun is enabled on your system, the Adaptec Installation window appears
automatically and you can skip steps 2 and 3.
2. From the Start menu, select Run.
3. Type d:\setup (substitute the appropriate letter of your CD-Recorder or CD-ROM drive
for d).
4. From the Adaptec Installation window, select from one of the following applications to
install:
à Adpatec Easy CD Creator: Create Audio CDs, Data CDs, and more
à Adaptec DirectCD: Write files directly to CD in much the same way that you
copy files to a floppy disk
5. Follow the installation instructions that appear on the screen.
6. When the installation is complete, click Finish. The Adaptec Installation window
appears again.
7. Install another application, or if you are finished click Exit.
8. Restart your computer when prompted for the changes to take effect.

Requisitos de componentes y sistema
Requisitos para utilizar Nero:
n Un PC 486 o superior a una velocidad de 133 MHz como mínimo.
n 8 MB de memoria DRAM como mínimo.
n Una unidad de CD/DVD-ROM para instalar Nero.
n Medio de CD-R o CD-RW compatible con la grabadora de CD.
n Una grabadora de CD-R o de CD-RW.
n Tiempo de acceso al disco duro inferior a 19 ms.
n 4,8 MB de espacio en el disco duro para el software de Nero.
Instalar y desinstalar Nero

Para instalar Nero mediante este programa:
1. Inserte el CD Nero-Burning ROM en la unidad de CD/DVD-ROM.
2. El mecanismo de ejecución automática debería abrir la pantalla
principal de configuración.
(Si no se ejecuta automáticamente, haga clic en “Start Menu/Run”
(Menú Inicio/Ejecutar), a continuación, seleccione “autorun.exe” en el
CD de instalación.)
3. Seleccione “Install Nero & InCD” (Instalar Nero e InCD).
4. Seleccione “Nero” en la pantalla de configuración de Nero.
5. Siga las instrucciones que aparezcan en pantalla. Se le solicitará
algunos datos como, por ejemplo, el nombre de usuario, la empresa y
el tipo de configuración.
6. Una vez finalizada la instalación, reinicie el ordenador.
³Desinstalar Nero
1. Seleccione “Start Menu” (Menú Inicio) y, a continuación,
“Settings/Control Panel/Add-Remove Programs” (Configuración/Panel
de control/Agregar o quitar programas).
2. Seleccione “Remove/Nero Burning-ROM” (Quitar/Nero Burning-
ROM).
Se suprimirá todo el contenido de Nero.
