1. SETTINGS FOR DRY EFFECTS
------------------------
For certain systems upgraded from Windows 2000 to Windows XP,
you may not be able to set to dry or no effects. To overcome
this, you can re-select your speaker configuration (e.g. 5.1
speakers) from the Surround Mixer before changing to the no
effects setting. You may need to perform the above procedure
after each system reboot.


2. WINDOWS UPDATE / PATCHES
------------------------
It is recommended to install the following Windows updates /
patches:

a. Windows 2000 Service Pack 2

Windows 2000 Service Pack 2 is a collection of updates that
fixes issues in the Windows 2000 operating system. Among others,
the new update provides better support for AC-3 output (non-PCM
through WaveOut) for software DVD viewing.

b. For other Windows updates, refer to Microsoft's website
regularly.

SB Live! drivers update Readme File

The SB Live! drivers update installation program will update your
computer with the latest drivers that can be installed on
all previous versions of the SB Live! software.

1. Updates
--------
a) Improves the Obstruction and Occlusion effects in the game,
Rogue Spear.

b) Improves the effects mix in some EAX games, including the
following games: Shogo, Blood 2 and Slave Zero.

c) Improves SB Live! compatibility with some versions of
Intel's PIII 600MHz and above processors.

d) Improves the EAX performance in the game, Nocturne.

e) Enables SoundFont bank settings to be saved after reboot.

f) Improves compatibility with the game, Revenant.

2. Known Issues
------------

a) If you have not updated to Live!Ware 2.0 and above, your
previous version of SB Live! Experience may not sound the
same after the SB Live! drivers update installation.
